Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Selects in Fall, Spring, Style, Summer, Winter on 07/14/18Sooooooo have you guys heard about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale? Lol, kidding. This time of year on Instagram is always weird to me. This sale is freaking everywhere, and it kind of amazes me how much people buy. I’m not a huge fan of Nordstrom truth be told; the return policy is almost too good (I often find stuff on the racks looks strait up secondhand), and I find a a lot of their stuff is cheap and overpriced… Sorry, harsh words; I know everyone’s obsessed! I just think there’s a fine line between treating yourself to a few new things for an incoming season and plain overconsumption. I know a lot of bloggers will return a large majority of things they get from the sale, but idk! I’ve always felt weird about doing that; it just doesn’t feel like real life to me and I always strive to keep my blog as transparent as possible! Anyway, I think you can find some awesome deals during the sale, pick up high price items that typically never go down in price, but there is no way I’m going to go buy a million tee shirts and cheaply made sweaters just because they’re like $20 off. My “strategy” was to spend a reasonable amount of time going through everything and just finding a few things that 1) I loved and felt like belonged in my closet 2) were of good quality, and 3) actually were a good deal! I’m also not a cardholder, so I won’t be buying anything until the sale opens to the general public hehe. So without further ado, the pieces that have preliminary made it into my shopping cart, which I will ponder and decide if I really need over the next week, while I wait for this sale to become open to the public, simultaneously crossing my fingers that they still are in my size and in stock! (On that note, a lot of the really popular shit is always brought back if it sells out pre-public sale, so no need to fret. Some things have sold out night one and never come back, but like… it’s just stuff, so who cares).
