Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Round Up

Happy Christmas in July, folks! At least, that’s what it’s feeling like with Nord’s biggest sale of the year finally upon us!! There’s been a ton of info on this sale floating around in the blog world, so to avoid repeating what I’m sure many of you have already read, here are the two things you need to know:

What it is: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale happens just once a year and features all NEW fall swag (think new to the rack boots & booties, sweaters, moto jackets, scarves, beauty products, home decor and more), at some really killer prices.

When it is: Starts July 13th for Nordstrom cardholders, opens up 21st to the public

I’ll admit, shopping for fall cozies in July is weird. I feel like it only just got consistently warm in Chicago a hot second ago, and my energies have been completely honed in on hunting for sandals, cute dresses, off the shoulder tops… So, definitely changing gears here. But, the way I see it, I would inevitably be buying the same things come September, and after the sale ends on August 6th, the prices go back up again; I would rather make the investment on new boots, coats, essentially all the basic staples of my autumn wardrobe, now, so I can save a whole ton of $$. I tend to only go after the reaaally good deals, I mean, if it’s a $80 sweater on sale for $60 I’m not going to get too excited about it— Everything you see online now will be available in the regular fall shopping months, so shopping this sale definitely doesn’t have to be a high stress situation 🙂
