Wild Blue Denim Paisley Peasant Top

Happy Tuesday, my friends! I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start.

Can I just start off by saying how craaaazy it is that it’s already April?! Where has the time been going… I’m coming up on my one year anniversary of graduating from college, and oh yeah TBT to buying Coachella tickets almost a year ago as well… And now it’s less than two weeks away!

Recently, I feel like the Chicago weather has bee pretty drab during the week, super hazy and grey, but luckily we have had some beautiful weekends. I shot this look after brunch last Saturday and had the best time walking down the Chicago Riverwalk with a cup of coffee and enjoying the sunshine! Btw, if you’re ever visiting the city, the Riverwalk is a great little activity! It’s super pretty down by the river; there are also a ton of restaurants right on it, so they have amazing views.

I collaborated with Wild Blue Denim for this post, and let me tell ya, they really hooked a girl up for spring! Everything in their most recent collections is super easy to wear, features great prints, lightweight tops, tons of off the shoulder cuteness… I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to rock first 🙂

I was instantly drawn to this paisley peasant top. I’m obsessed with the boho vibes! The top has a super pretty shade of blue, a great print, and little tassels hanging from the front.

Also, I just checked and it’s currently on sale for literally under $10, what?!

So, I also neeeed to talk to you guys about these jeans! I’ve had my eye on them for a while and have seen them all over Instagram. I am SO happy I finally took the plunge, because the rips on them are just to die. I’m such a sucker for distressed jeans, I need to have them all!

They are also in the most perfect wash of faded blue, so they’ll really go with everything and will be perfect for springy and summery looks.

They’re also under $100, which my wallet most definitely appreciates. I ran into my friend who was wearing these at the same time, and we both agreed that they seem to run a little big after you first wear them. I guess they stretch a teeny amount? I noticed just a tiny bit of bagginess in the inner thighs and butt area, so I’d recommend sizing down. I think it says they run big on the website, too!

Lastly… Need to say a couple quick words about my new little Marcie baby!! I’ve had this blush Tory Burch crossbody bag for a couple of years; I think I paid way too much money for what it is worth, and it’s just kind of underwhelming. It’s super thin too, and I like when my bags have some depth to them and stand out from your outfit. SO I’ve been wanting a new blush bag to replace it… I had been “watching” a few Chloe Marcie crossbody bags like this on eBay and eventually came across a deal too good to pass up…

I also found a bunch of adorable budget friendly bags in the same shade of pink, it’s my latest obsession! I cannoooot wait to wear this as a little pop of color once I’m rocking full on summer outfits.
