Winter Blues

Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!

I seriously am in total shock that this year is over. I actually forgot that NYE was tonight and thought we had an extra day of 2016…

This year was a big one for me! I graduated from Boston College, started working as an analyst in technology consulting, moved back full time to Chicago, signed a lease on my first apartment, and started my blog!! And I’m happy. I feel really happy. For the first time in a long time, I really just feel like I have my shit together, and it’s the best feeling. All is good.

I’ve been camped out in Palm Desert, CA with my boyfriend and his fam the last few days and have been enjoying some gorgeous sunshine, blue skies, and palm trees, and have spent my days hiking, and shopping, and EATING. Eating everything. I plan on having a little PD travel guide up some time soon and dish on all my favorite spots!

I shot this look while I was still in Chicago, (as you can clearly tell by the snow). This sweater has been my latest obsession. I absolutely adore this shade of blue! I’ve been loving pastels for winter, especially paired with winter whites! It’s super soft and cozy and under $20!! Hollaaa.
